Take time out to walk down this section of Maridalsveien, between Griffenfeldtsgate and Arendalsgaten, and you will find a street lined with lovingly restored, old wooden houses that will take you back to another era. Look in at the old Vyenvolden farm, where the listed main building is from 1710. The farm buildings are regularly open to the public for concerts, exhibitions and storytelling for children.
