The “Waterford County Fleadh Cheoil” will be held in Ballyduff Upper, Co. Waterford on the weekend of 9th, 10th, and 11th of May. This age old traditional Irish festival will this year be held in the little village of Ballyduff near the historic town of Lismore, and will include competitions in Irish music, dance and song, as well as a feast of street and pub entertainment. Apart from the competitions which as always will host hundreds of competitors, highlights of the weekend include a singing session on Friday night, a concert with very special guests and famous trad musicians Seamus Begley and Tim Edey on Saturday night, music workshops, as well as street entertainment on Sunday. Pub sessions will be held every night, and visitors are welcome to view the competitions during the day.
