Boyne Gables is a spacious, cosy and welcoming stone cottage on one acre of landscaped gardens, near Drogheda County Louth. The property is fitted with modern conveniences. The cottage features four bedrooms: two double ensuite rooms and two single rooms each with a wash hand basin. There is also a main bathroom with a bath and shower. There is a kitchen/dining room and a separate sitting room with an open fire and TV. Nearby attractions include golf, fishing, and canal and woodland walks. The cottage is located only a ten minute walk from Oldbridge House which houses the Battle of the Boyne Visitor Centre and is surrounded by numerous of picturesque marked walkways. There are a number of beaches within 8km of Boyne Gables and Newgrange historic site is only 6km away, as is the Newgrange Visitor Farm an excellent children’s day activity. The town of Drogheda is only 5km away and offers restaurants, pubs, craft shops and a cinema. This is an excellent base for touring the historic east coast, Dublin city and Newry.
