A family-run business since 1969, Morriscastle Strand Holiday Park is a four-star caravan, camping and private mobile home site. Found along the coast in County Wexford, the park caters for caravans, camper vans and tents. It spreads out beside the soft sand dunes, with kilometres of beach to ramble on and space for children to play and run. With the sunny South East’s reputation for excellent weather coupled with a soft, sandy beach, it’s easy for families to enjoy traditional seaside holidays while staying at Morriscastle. There, guests are far removed from the stress and strain of city life. Facilities include a reception building with a fully stocked shop open during the high season. There is also a take-away in the high season as well as a cafe, WiFi access, a games room with pool tables and table tennis. Additionally, the reception staff are happy to share their knowledge about the local area and provide brochures and maps that outline the various amenities in the region. Morriscastle also provides on-site leisure facilities, with two tennis courts, a basketball court and Astroturf football pitch. The property boasts two service blocks, both of which are close to the touring and camping areas. They comprise a disabled toilet/shower, toilets, showers, chemical toilet rooms and three laundrettes. Ironing and hairdrying facilities are also available from reception. The wet-weather room has a seating and prep area, and wash-up basins for campers.
