This place is a carb lover's dream. Lin Shu-chen, an interior decorator, opened up this little gem in the Shida area behind Taiwan Normal University, and you should thank the stars she did. Using flours imported from France, Lin's staff bakes up some of the best bread, pastries, and desserts to be had anywhere in Taipei. The chocolate raspberry mouse (mousse au chocolate et aux framboise) is probably the best thing you could ever put in your mouth. If you're cooking up pasta or sandwiches at home, swing by and grab one of the bakery's breads as a side, or, if you're too hungry for a simple bakery snack, head over to Lin's restaurant, Bunny Listens to the Music, for Italian fare served up with Boite de Bijou's breads and desserts.
