About

The Garrison Church in the Rocks was built in the 1840s from sandstone quarried in nearby Argyle Street. It was originally known as The Church of the Holy Trinity but later changed its name in recognition of the many soldiers from the nearby garrison who worshipped there. The church faces a village green and is flanked by rows of colonial workers' cottages. You'll find the perfect place for a rare moment of reflection in this delightful location.
