Day 1: Arrival At Bangkok And Transfer To Kanchanaburi
Early morning, pick up participants from various Bangkok hotels and depart to Kanchanaburi. Visit the Thailand-Burma Railway Center, an interactive museum, information and research facility dedicated to presenting the history of the Thailand-Burma Railway. The fully air-conditioned center offers the visitor an educational and moving experience. Visit the War Cemetery, the final resting place for over 6,000 allied prisoners of war and continue to the world famous Bridge over the River Kwai. Take a long-tailed boat on the Kwai River, passing unspoiled mountainous jungle scenery to the resort and check in. After lunch at the resort, take a boat ride to Resotel pier and continue by road to the Hellfire Pass Memorial. Return to the resort for dinner, followed by a 45-minute presentation of Mon Dances and overnight at Jungle Rafts.
Day 2: River Kwai
After breakfast, visit to the nearby ethnic Mon Village (optional elephant riding can be arranged on spot at extra cost). Return to the resort for lunch. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Jungle Rafts
Day 3: Departure
Breakfast at the resort. The morning is at your leisure. Check out and depart for lunch, served at a local restaurant at the pier. Take a historic ride on the Death Railway Train, then continue by air-conditioned van / coach back to your hotel in Bangkok.
