Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival At Ahmedabad And Proceed To Bhuj

  • Arrive Ahmedabad in the morning and drive to Bhuj. The historic city of Bhuj derives its name from the Bhujiyo Dungar, a hill, overlooking the present day Bhuj town.
  • Bhuj is a typical example of a desert town located between two geographical features - Bujiyo Dungar on the east and Hamirsar Lake on the west. Overnight stay at Bhuj.

Day 2: Bhuj Sightseeing

  • After breakfast proceed for a day excursion to Banni Villages. Also visit Karo Dungar (Black Hill) - drive to the “Datary Temple” at the top of the karo dungar, from where you will have the best top views of the Great Rann.
  • The Kalo Dungar is also famous for a 400-year-old Dattatreya temple. Legend says that when Dattatreya walked on the earth, he stopped at the Black Hills and found a band of starving jackals. Being a god, he offered them his body to eat and as they ate, his body continually regenerated itself. Because of this, for the last four centuries, the priest at the temple has prepared a batch of prasad, cooked rice, that is fed to the jackals after the evening aarti

Day 3: Bhuj To Jamnagar

Transfer from Bhuj to Jamnagar. Procced to visit Bala Hanuman Temple is a pilgrim place venerated by the devotees of Lord Rama. It is a world famous temple, known for the continous chanting of Jai Ram, Shri Ram. The chanting is going on since 1964 and has found a place for it in the Guinness Book of World Records. People chant the name of the Lord in shifts, 24hours a day. Overnight stay at Jamnagar.

Day 4: Jamnagar To Dwarka

  • Today after breakfast proceed to Dwarka. Dwarka is a city and municipality located in Jamnagar district in Indian state of Gujarat. It is known to be situated in the western most part of Gujarat. This city was historically known as the Golden city. Dwarka is an important city according to Hindu religion, as it serves as one of the Chardham as well as Sapta-puri (seven sacred cities) sites. As the name suggests, it is believed to be a gateway to spiritual union with Lord Brahma. This city finds association with sacred texts of Hindu religion such as Gita and Puranas
  • Afternoon proceed to visit Nageshwar and Bet Dwarka Rukmani Temple. The visit of Dwarka is not complete without a visit to Bet Dwarka.Dwarka is a city and municipality located in Jamnagar district in Indian state of Gujarat.   • Bet Dwarka, popularly known as the ‘kingdom of Lord Krishna’ is a small island situated some 30 miles away from Dwarka. It is a wonderful place for a trip with friends and family as well as for a pilgrimage. The ride to Bet Dwarka from Dwarka is fun-filled and full of excitementan island at a distance of 30 Kms. Off the coast of Okha port, At Bet, there are temples of Vishnu (in the form of 'matsya'), Radha, Lakshmi, Satyabhama, Jambuvanti and Devaki.
  • A ferry ride from Dwarka to the island of Bet near Okha makes a pleasant outing. We will then visit Gomati Village, Gomati Talab and Gomati Mandir. Overnight stay at Dwarka.

Day 5: Dwarka To Somnath

  • Today after breakfast proceed to Somnath enroute visiting Porbandar. Visit the Krishna-Sudama Temple and also visit Bharat Mandir.
  • Somnath - Somnath Temple for followers of both Shiva and Vishnu. The most important temple and main highlight in Somnath is the Kailash temple with its imposing architecture, a 50-meter high tower, intricate carvings and a number of holy idols and images. After performing the evening Aarti and after witnessing the Sound & Light Show we will then visit the beach of Somnath which is very beautiful & a captivating sight to behold. The fresh blue waters, humming waves and the cool sands give you a feeling of having landed in a paradise. The beach has pleasant sands, great sea views, camel and pony rides, coconut stalls and snack places. We will then give free time to the tourists for relaxation or moving around Veraval town on their own. Late in the evening return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Somnath.

Day 6: Somnath To Diu

  • Today After breakfast proceed to Diu. Afternoon sightseeing of the city. This tiny island of breeze, beauty and serenity situated off the southern tip of the Saurashtra ( Kathiawad) peninsula of Gujarat, Lapped by the Arabian Sea, is a picture of calmness with superb beaches and fascinating history. Visit St.Paul's church, St.Thomas Church Museum, Nagoa Beach and Diu Fort.
  • St.Paul's church : The Church adorned with curiously treated volutes & shell-like motifs and the magnificient wood carving is considered to be the most elaborate ofall the Portugese churches in India.
  • St.Thomas Church Museum : A hunge edifice in gothic architecture was built in 1598. A part of it has been converted into a museum an Archeological treasure house.
  • Diu Fort : This majestic structure stands onthe coast of Diu sentinel. Onceinside, you are overwhelmed by the gaunt majesty of the ancient stone workwhich transports you to a bygone era of gallant soldiers where time stands still.
  • Nagoa Beach : The Nagoa beach is exceptionally beautiful & quiet. In the exceptionally beautiful horse-shoe (semicircular) shaped beach. Overnight at Diu.

Day 7: Diu At Leisure

Today after breakfast day at leisure for independent activities. Overnight stay at Diu.

Day 8: Diu To Sasangir

After breakfast proceed to Sasangir. Is the only place in the world outside Africa, where the lion can be seen in his natural habitat. The forest also harbours a variety of smaller animals and birds. Other predators are Panther & Hyena. The Indian Deer, Sambar, Spotted deer, Blue bull, Chinkara & the Chowsingha (four hornedantelope) are found here, along with the bear & the long tailed langur. Overnight stay at Sasangir.

Day 9: Sasangir To Ahmedabad

After breakfast transfer to Ahmedabad and proceed for sightseeing. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10: Ahmedabad Sightseeing

  • Morning Arrival at Ahmedabad, Meet and greet, and transfer to hotel, check in to hotel. Later proceed to local City Tour visit of Gandhi Ashram, Sidi Saiyed's Mosque -The Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, built in 1573, is one of the most famous mosques of Ahmedabad.
  • Later proceed to visit Juma Masjid, Teen Darwaza,Hathi Singh Jain Temple, Adalaj Step Well and Akshardham Temple rest of the day leisure. Overnight stay Ahmedabad.

Day 11: Departure From Ahmedabad

Today after breakfast proceed to Airport to catch the flight for your onwards journey.
