Day 4: Thimphu To Punakha /wangdue Via Dochula Pass
After permit (Permit is not issued on Saturdays, Sundays & Govt holidays) drive (70 kms / 2.30 hrs) to Punakha/Wangdue, with a stop en route for tea at Dochu La Pass (3,100 meters), where on a clear day you can get spectacular views of the Himalayas. Day 9: Excursion To Haa Valley Via Chelela Pass
Early morning drive to Haa via Chele-la pass. After driving through blue pine & rhododendron forest for 45 km, reach Chele-la pass (4200 meters). From this point one can have a superb views of Mount - Chomolhari & Jichu Drakey. This is a very good place to walk around for few minutes enjoying the view. Drive on to Haa, descending all the way for another 22 km (Approx 01 hr drive)), finally reaching Haa. Explore the sightseeing at Haa. Later in the afternoon drive to Paro same way back.
