Alluring Maharashtra Tour

• Day 1: Arrive Mumbai and transfer to Matheran (83 Kms)
• Once you touch down in Mumbai airport or railway station, you will be transferred to culturally rich city Matheran. It is known as the gem of Maharashtra located in the Raigad district. Multiple hill stations installed by the British rules during the British Raj around early 1800s are meant to take you enjoy the fresh, cool air of one of India’s smallest hill stations in India. After you reach Matheran, check-into the hotel. Later on sightseeing stops at Alexander Point, Echo Point, and Panorama Point, before going for a joy horse riding session.
• We take you back to your hotel to rest up. Overnight stay.
• Note: No vehicle zone in Matheran, thus all sightseeing is done by the tourists themselves. They can ride a horse, rent a hand-pulled rickshaw, or go walking as distances are not much. Cars go up to Dasturi point from there they can take a toy train or hand pull rickshaw or horse riding to reach their hotels on direct payment basis.

• Breakfast at hotel and we let you go for a relaxing walk around the hotel area in Matheran before we start the day. The day’s schedule begins from Charlotte Lake, where we make a stop for a serene sight. Then to the Panther’s Caves, a naturally formed cave that has been turned into a temple on the inside.
• Then we transfer to your next destination Lonavala where we’ll spend the night at in a hotel that we’ve booked for you. Overnight stay.

• After breakfast, we take you to Lonavala’s best sightseeing spots, such as Karla Caves, Visapur Fort, Walwan Dam, and the Lonavala Lake. Enjoy a guided walk along the complex rock-cut caves of Karla Caves after climbing up the 350 steps from the base of the hill. The Visapur fort was built around the early 1700s and partly destroyed after the English’s takeover in the 1800s. Then we drive down to the Walwan Dam, a gravity dam a 100-year-old power generator of Pune district, before making our final stop at the beautiful Lonavala Lake.
• We’ll move for Alibaug and make a small stopover at Khandala for the gorgeous views if the weather allows, before reaching our hotel in Alibaug to check-in.
• We’ll let you retreat to your hotel for the night stay.

• In Alibaug, your day starts early after your breakfast at Kihim Beach. We take you to the grandeur Murud-Janjira Fort that requires a ferry ride to reach, the Alibag Beach, followed with a visit to the nearby Kulaba Fort.
• After a full day enjoying the seaside view, we head back to Mumbai and upon arrival check the hotel and overnight stay.

Breakfast at hotel and as per your flight or train schedule departure or check out time you will be dropped to the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
