Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 01: Arrival In Bagdogra Airport/ Njp Railway Station
Welcome on arrival at Bagdogra Airport /NJP Station and Transfer to Jaldapara. Enjoy the Tea garden in evening and overnight stay at Jaldapara.
Day 02: Phuntsholing - Thimpu
After breakfast transfer to Phuntsholing official formalities, then move towards Thimpu. Overnight halt at Hotel Orab at Thimpu.
Day 03: Explore Thimpu
This is the special day in which you will explore the Thimpu. The capital of the country(Bhutan), since 1962 at 2350m (7710ft) is a 5.30 hour drive from Phuntsholing. The city is directly linked to Phuntsholing, the Indian border by 195 km long (120 mile) road. It boasts of a number of magnificent monuments including the memorial Chorten and many day long drive and walk tours to monasteries in the vicinity, rice, com and wheat farms provide a soothing greenery in the surrounding. Places to visit in are: Thimpu—Tashichhoe Dzong, The memorial Chorten, Semtokha Dzong, National Library, The Institute of Traditional medicine, Centenary Farmers market, BBS Tower, Changlimithang stadium, School of Arts & Craft, Handicrafts Institute, Buddha Point & Takin Zoo.
Day 04: Arrival In Paro
- Early morning after bed tea move towards Paro with on the way beautiful pure natural sightseeing. After reaching Paro check in at hotel Dragon. Paro is the name of a district, valley, river and town in the kingdom of Bhutan. It is one of the most historic valley in Bhutan. Paro contains the only active international airport in Bhutan, the Paro airport, a beautiful small green roofed facility in a valley served only by Druk air (Bhutan’s National Airline) from India and other countries in South Asia.
- Place of visit in Paro are: Taktsang monastery, Drukgyl Dzong, Ta Dzong, Paro Rinpung Dzong, Pro museum.
Day 05: Back To Jaldapara
Early morning after bed tea remaining sightseeing at Paro then back to hotel. Then back to Phuntsholing with several site seen on the way of Bhutan. Then sift to hotel Mystic Forest at Jaldapara, evening free dinner and overnight stay at Jaldapara.
Day 06: Drop To Bagdogra
Visit to Jaldapara Forest Safari / khayerbari Forest Safari and drop to Bagdogra.
