Dharamshala is a city and a municipal council in Kangra district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is the district headquarters. It was formerly known as Bhagsu. The Dalai Lama's residence in McLeodGanj and the headquarters of Central Tibetan Administration, (the Tibetan government in exile) are in Dharamshala. Dharamshala is 18 kilometres from Kangra.

Early Morning visit Tushita Buddhist Meditation Center, Tushita was established in 1972 by Lama Thubten Yeshe it is highly qualified teacher in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. Since Lama Yeshe’s passing away in 1984 his main student Lama Zopa Rinpoche has been the spiritual director of Tushita and the FPMT (Foundation for the preservation of the Mahayana tradition). Back to the hotel freshening up and proceed to Norbolinga Norbulingka is dedicated to handing down tradition and restoring standards by providing training, education and employment for Tibetans. It supports an environment in which Tibetan community and family values can flourish. It reconciles the traditional creatively and respectfully with the modern and seeks to create an international awareness of Tibetan values and their expression in art and literature. Currently 28 years old, the Karmapa resides in his temporary home at Gyuto Monastery in India after making a dramatic escape from Tibet in the year. In the evening visit to Jiya Monastery near Palampur, famous for tea Gardens and Snow. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
