• After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, set off on a full day guided tour to uncover one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Pyramids of Giza. Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus showcase remarkable ancient engineering, each built with 2,300,000 blocks weighing an average of two and a half tonnes, a scale that continues to inspire wonder even today. The Cheops Pyramid holds special interest, as its interior burial chambers are open for public viewing.
• A short distance away lies the Great Sphinx of Giza, dating back to Chephren's time around 2620 BC. Carved from yellowish limestone and rising 65 feet, it combines the face of a Pharaoh with the body of a lion. Before heading back, if time permits, there's an opportunity to visit a papyrus institute or a perfume shop. The tour of Pyramids concludes with a drive back to the hotel to freshen up.
• Lunch can be served at an Indian, oriental, or Chinese restaurant, followed by a drive to the Grand Egyptian Museum for another unforgettable tour. Step into the world of ancient Egypt at the Grand Egyptian Museum, home to some of the era's most valuable treasures. One of your first experiences is passing through the atrium, taking in the giant Ramses II statue, before walking up the Grand Staircase. From the staircase, you enter the exhibition halls, arranged both chronologically and by theme, featuring multimedia and immersive displays beyond static viewing. Your tour offers a look at the museum's most impressive artifacts, including statues, royal regalia, and ancient monuments, with your guide sharing insights along the way.
• Through the windows, enjoy a direct view of the Pyramids, connecting the museum experience with the landscape outside. Visit all major galleries, including the Tutankhamun exhibit, and take in the Solar Boats of King Cheops, before driving back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

• After an early breakfast at the hotel, drive along the desert road to Alexandria for a full day guided tour of Egypt's most charming coastal city. The tour begins at Pompey's Pillar, a towering monument carved from Aswan pink granite, raised in honour of Emperor Diocletian. Close by lies the entrance to the Kom El-Shuqafa Catacombs (entrance on a direct payment basis), dating back to the first and second centuries. These remarkable underground tombs blend Egyptian, Greek, and Roman artistic styles and were discovered quite by chance in the early 20th century.
• Continue to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (entrance on a direct payment basis), the New Library of Alexandria, established to bring back the openness and scholarly spirit associated with the ancient original. Far more than a library, it holds 13 distinct departments and hosts an expanding number of institutions, gradually growing into a hub connecting networks across the region and beyond.
• Visit Qaitbay Fort, which has stood guard over the bay for centuries; rising at the end of the Corniche, its crenelated walls belong to a Mameluk fortress built in 1480 on the site of the ancient Alexandria lighthouse. Lunch follows at a local restaurant. Afterward, visit the Montazah Gardens, a 150-hectare park surrounding the palace of Khedive Abbas, whose striking architecture feels almost Disney-like, where visitors can stroll through the gardens or relax on the sandy beaches nearby. The day concludes with a drive back to Cairo for an overnight stay at the hotel.

• After breakfast at the hotel, begin your tour with a visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, established in 1835 and housed in its present building since 1900. Home to over 120,000 artifacts spanning the prehistoric to Greco-Roman periods across 107 halls, the museum's ground floor displays large statues, while the upper floor holds smaller pieces, jewellery, and the treasures of Tutankhamun.
• Followed by local lunch, visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, the first of its kind in the Arab world, tracing Egyptian history and culture from prehistory to the present day through a wide-ranging collection of artifacts and heritage.
• The day continues at Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the world's most famous marketplaces, known for its narrow alleyways and traditional cafes. You'll be given some free time here to explore the area at your own pace and visit the nearby Al Azhar and El Hussein Mosques, if you wish. After the tour, drive back to Cairo for your overnight stay.
