About the tour
The gateway to the northeast and the largest and most cosmopolitan city in the region, Guwahati serves as the starting block for most northeastern itineraries. A prosaic heap of glass and concrete for the most part, Guwahati resembles any other Indian city at first glance and you will still be able to salvage a generous amount of local flavour that lingers amid its suburban sprawl of ponds, palm trees, small single-storey traditional houses and old colonial-era mansions.

Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Guwahati To Shillong
Arrive Guwahati and transfer to Shillong. Transfer to hotel on arrival. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Excursion To Cherapunjee And Back
Early morning drive to Cherapunjee. Enrooted we visit Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls. On arrival we visit Nohkalikai Falls, Mousamai cave, Ramakrishna Mission. Return to Shillong in the evening. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Shillong To Guwahati
After breakfast transfer to Guwahati. Enrooted visit Cathedral Church, Ward’s Lake, Lady Hydari Park. Arrive Guwahati and transfer to hotel. Afternoon proceed for Guwahati half day sightseeing, visit the Kamakhya Temple. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4: Departure From Guwahati
After breakfast, transfer to Guwahati airport for onward destination. Tour ends.
