Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 01: New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport – Darjeeling (98 Kms / 3 Hrs)
Arrive at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport & transfer to Darjeeling (6,710 ft.). On arrival check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Spend overnight at hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 02: Darjeeling Local Sightseeing
Witness the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak at around 4 a.m) at Tiger Hill in early morning (subject to weather condition); thrill yourself by visiting World famous Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop on your way back. After a sumptuous breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view) , Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda and Ropeway (Ticket cost not included and will be approx Rs.180 per person-directly payable by guest). In evening explore the Mall on your own & shop around. Spend overnight at hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 03: Darjeeling – Kalimpong (57 Kms / 2 ½ Hrs) Sightseeing
After your delightful Breakfast transfer to Kalimpong (4,100 ft.). On arrival check-in to your hotel. Afternoon enjoy half day tour of Kalimpong Visit MangalDham, Deolo Hill, Dr. Graham’s Home, Golf Garden, Durpin Dara Hills & Flowers Nurseries. Spend overnight at hotel in Kalimpong .
Day 04: Kalimpong – Gangtok (78 Kms / 3 Hrs) Local Sightseeing
After breakfast transfer to Gangtok (5,480 ft.). On arrival check-in to your hotel. Afternoon proceed for a half day city tour visiting Ranka Monstary, Banzakhri Falls, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Flower show, Dro-dulChorten & Institute of Tibetology (maximum 3-4 hours). Evening at leisure . Spend overnight at hotel in Gangtok.
Day 05: Excursion To Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
After a sumptuous breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city. Evening at leisure. Spend overnight at hotel in Gangtok.(In case of Land slide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing.)
Day 06: Gangtok – New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport (125 Kms / 4 Hrs)
After a delightful breakfast check out from hotel in time and take the departure transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey. We wish you HAPPY JOURNEY.
