Day 1: Arrival At Delhi - Half Day Sightseeing

  • Welcome at Delhi airport/railway station & proceed to Delhi. Delhi is a city that bridges two different worlds. Old Delhi, once the capital of Islamic India, is a labyrinth of narrow lanes lined with crumbling havelis and formidable mosques. In contrast, the imperial city of New Delhi created by the British Raj is composed of spacious, tree-lined avenues and imposing government buildings. Delhi has been the seat of power for several rulers and many empires for about a millennium. Check in at hotel & later proceed for sightseeing covering the Qutab Minar. Qutab Minar is a soaring, 73 m-high tower of victory, built in 1193.
  • At the centre of New Delhi stands the 42 m high India Gate, an "Arc-de-Triomphe" like archway in the middle of a crossroad. Almost similar to its French counterpart. By evening return to hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer To Manali

  • After breakfast and check out from your hotel in Delhi today, we hit the road to the beautiful hill station of Manali (2000 m above sea level). Located in the Beas River Valley, Manali is a very popular hill station flocked by tourists from across the country. Manali can be reached from the national highway that leads to the Ladakh region. The snow-clad mountain peaks, rich flora and fauna, and several other prominent attractions make a trip to Manali most worthwhile. According to a legend, Manu was a sage who is believed to have recreated human life after the world was devastated after a great flood. There is an ancient temple in the old Manali village that is devoted to this sage.
  • Some of the other popular attractions of this quaint destination include Hadimba Temple, Manali Sanctuary, Arjun Gufa and Jagatsukh. Upon arrival and check-in at your hotel, take the edge off by with some rest & recreation. By evening, you can choose to explore Manali and its fascinating places of interest. Maybe take a stroll on popular Mall Road and treat yourself to some local delights and memorabilia shopping as there are an array of eateries and plenty of cafes & joints for a fun time. Return to your hotel and have a delicious dinner. Overnight stay at hotel in Manali.

Day 3: Manali Local Sightseeing

  • After breakfast, walk through Manali town visiting newly constructed Buddhist Monastery and the handicraft centre. Later, visit the 450 years old temple dedicated to Hadimba Devi, Jagatsukh and Vashist kund.
  • Hadimba Devi Temple - is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hidimbi Devi, wife of Bhima, a figure in the Indian epic Mahābhārata. The temple is surrounded by a cedar forest at the foot of the Himālayas.
  • Vashisht, an extremely picturesque little place clinging to the steep hill side. On the way up to the village you come upon the Vashist hot baths where a natural sulphur spring is piped into a modern bath-house.
  • Return to hotel by late afternoon. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day Excursion To Rohtang Pass (At Own Cost) And Solang Valley

  • After an early breakfast, get ready to go on an excursion to the iconic tourist attraction in Himachal - Rohtang Pass. Enjoy a breathtaking drive through Snow Point on the road to Rohtang Pass (closed on Tuesdays). After a certain point, only vehicles with permit are allowed to proceed on Manali - Rohtang highway. You have to take the vehicle with permit (at your own cost) to travel further to Rohtang Pass.
  • An iconic tourist attraction in Manali, Rohtang Pass (13,054 ft) is located on the watershed between the water basins of the Chenab River and the Beas River. Besides Lahaul and Spiti, Rohtang Pass also serves as the gateway to Pangi and the valley of Leh. Manali-Leh Highway, a part of NH 21, transverses Rohtang Pass. The Pass offers visitors beautiful sights of glaciers and mountain peaks such as Geypan and Lahaul Valley.
  • Later, visit the famous Solang Valley. At 8500 ft above mean sea level, the preferred location for adventure activities in Himachal Pradesh, Solang Valley is a must-see for adrenaline junkies. You can choose to go parachuting paragliding, skating or zorbing (at own expense). Its lush forests, apple orchards, snowcapped peaks and rivers attract visitors as well. Also halt at Marhi, Rahala falls and Nehru Kund. By evening, return to your hotel in Manali and enjoy a lovely dinner. Overnight stay at hotel in Manali.

Day Excursion To Manikran

After breakfast, get ready to visit Manikaran, the hottest Sulphur Spring Waters in the world. This religious site is visited by both Hindus and Sikhs in large numbers. On the way back towards Kullu, you are going to halt at the famous Kullu Shawl Industry, where you can do a little shopping for your loved ones. We can also enjoy river rafting at Manikaran. Evening return back to Hotel at Manali.

Day 6: Transfer To Shimla

After breakfast today, check out from your hotel in Manali and get ready to proceed to Shimla (by road). The capital city of Himachal Pradesh and most popular hill station in the north of India was once the Himalayan summer capital of the British Raj in 1864 (2000 m above sea level). Today, happy vacactioners from all around flock here to get away from the daily hustle of city life. Set amid beautiful hills, meandering streets and mystical woods, Shimla treats honeymooners and families to captivating natural beauty. What also attracts tourists here is the chance to go trekking, mountaineering, skiing and other adventure activities. Upon arrival in Shimla, check in to your hotel, get comfortable and have a delicious dinner. Overnight stay at hotel in Shimla.

Day 7: Kufri Excursion - Shimla Local Sightseeing

  • After a delicious breakast this morning, get ready to venture into Kufri - a haven for nature enthusiasts and wildlife lovers. With panoramic views of the Himalayas, steep hikes, adventure sports and quite a few fun and interesting sightseeing attractions, Kufri is a great place to unwind.
  • Popular specially with trekkers, the splendid weather and stunning natural beauty make Kufri an ideal summer getaway. Interestingly, Kufri is also the venue for an annual winter sports festival held in February. With the oldest skiing slopes in Himachal Pradesh, Kufri is also famously referred to as a ski destination. Himalayan Nature Park in the outskirts is home to over 180 varieties of fauna.
  • After, visit the famous Mall Road in Shimla. Also check out the pleasant small square Scandal Point and Jhakoo Temple. Return to your hotel and have a tasty dinner. Overnight stay at hotel in Shimla.
  • Private vehicles do not have access to Jhakoo temple because of the location. The guests can take a shared taxi available on Mall Road and visit the temple. It’s advisable to visit the temple before it turns dark; hence the guests can first visit the temple and then spend time on the mall road.

Day Excursion To Naldehra

After a delicious breakast in Shimla this morning, set out on an excursion to Naldehra, which lies at an altitude of 2044 m above sea level. A haven for tourists, this destination is famous for the oldest 9-hole golf course in India. Another known attraction at this place is Tattapani, which is at an altitude of 656 m above sea level and is known for its hot sulphur springs that are known for their medicinal value. The scenic beauty of this place is simply mesmerising and that is the reason why hordes of travellers visit here. Thereafter, proceed to hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 9: Transfer To Chandigarh - Sightseeing In Chandigarh

  • After breakfast, check out from hotel & proceed to Chandigarh popularly referred to as the 'City Beautiful'. Chandigarh, the capital of Punjab and Haryana, is regarded as one of the best planned cities of the country.
  • Later, you may opt for a sightseeing trip of this beautiful city and visit its popular attractions, such as Rock Garden, Sukhna Lake, Capitol Complex and Open Hand. Rock Garden is a masterpiece that was formed from urban and industrial waste. Established as an open-air exhibition hall, it houses many items made porcelain, metal wires, auto parts, mudguards, frames, etc.
  • The man-made Sukhna Lake, situated at the foothills of the Shivalik range, has a 3-km shoreline. It was built in the year 1958, after a dam was built across a seasonal stream - Sukhna Choe that flowed from the Shivalik hills. Sport activities, like water skiing, yachting and boating are on offer at this lake.
  • Capitol Complex is a government building that was designed by the great Le Corbusier. Earlier, it was the seat of the Punjab Government; however today, it is the headquarters of both the governments of Haryana and Punjab.
  • Open Hand is a 50 tonne and 14-metre high and structure that was created by Le Corbusier. Made out of metal sheets, this giant hand is a symbolism of unity and peace.
  • Alternatively, you can pay a visit to its famous markets, such as the shopping arcade of Sector 17, also called as as the City Centre.
  • Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 10: Departure From Chandigarh To Delhi

Have your breakfast and check out from your hotel in Chandigarh. Hit the road to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be transferred to the airport/railway station to board your flight/train back home. Your tour has come to an end. Let the memories begin!
