About the tour
The Kashmir valley is situated about 300 km. from Jammu across forested ravines and steep mountain passes. The emerald valley of Kashmir is cradled in the Himalayas, under the crystal blue skies, against the background of snow-capped mountains. It is a magic land of silvery streams, rivers, freshwater lakes, pine, deodar and chinar forests, snow clad mountains, sparkling waterfalls, shikaras, green meadows and grassy slopes full of flowers of vibrant colours.

Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 01 : Arrival At Srinagar Airport
Arrival at Srinagar Airport. Upon arrival meet and greet and transfer to hotel/Houseboat. Evening enjoy Shikara Boat Ridein Dal Lake and visit the Island of Char Chinar and Nehru Park.
Day 02 : Srinagar
After breakfast, proceed for Srinagar. Upon arrival check into the hotel and visit Shankaracharya Temple, the famous Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar, Chasmashahi gardens.
Day 03 : Sonmarg - Srinagar
After breakfast, we will drive to the majestic mountain resort of Sonmarg(110 Kms.). In Sonmarg ,we will take 3 hours walk or horseback trip to the Thajwass glacier and then drive back to Srinagar in the evening.
Day 04 : Pahalgam
After breakfast , proceed to Pahalgam (97 kilometers / 3-4 hrs drive)and drive on the National Highway 1A. Upon arrival ,check into the hotel .Visit the picturesque Chandanwari and Betaab valley or ride by horseback across the wildlife sanctuary towards Baisaran meadows.
Day 05 : Gulmarg
After breakfast , proceed to Gulmarg (152 kilometers / 5-6 hrs. ). Arrive Gulmarg early in the afternoon and check into the hotel. Later we will begin a short tour around the meadow familiarizing ourselves with the beauty.
Day 06 : Gulmarg
We will board the Gandola cable car system (charges extra), and ascend towards the Afarwatt Mountain range. In Gulmarg do some horse-riding to the strawberry valley.
Day 07 : Transfer To Srinagar Airport
Morning after breakfast, transfer to Srinagar Airport for your flight for return journey.
