Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 01: New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Ixb To Gangtok
- Meet and Greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri railway station
- / Bagdogra and transfer to Gangtok. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Excursion To Tsomgo Lake And Baba Mandir ( Timing Will Depend On The Issuance Of Permit )
- A day excursion to Tsomgo Lake - situated at a height of 3,780 Mts. with an average depth of 50 ft and Baba Mandir - The shrine
- maid in memory of sepoy Harbahajan Sing , Back to Gangtok , Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03: Gangtok To Lachung ( Timing Will Depend On The Issuance Of Permit )
After breakfast pick up from hotel at Gangtok and transfer to Lachung (altitude 8610 ft). Via Phodong, Mangan, Singik Chungthang and Maltim , Lunch on the way. Overnight stay at Lachung.
Day 04: Excursion To Yumthang Valley And Back
- Early Morning visit Yumthang-Valley ( Famous as Valley of variety of Rhododendron ), Yumthang is the summer grazing ground
- of the yaks and winter playgrounds of yetis ( Myth ). On the way back visit the Hot Spring considered to have medicinal
- properties. Back to resort for lunch. Overnight stay at Lachung .
Day 05: Lachung To Gangtok
After breakfast departure (8.00 am,) for the Gangtok , Rest of the day free for own activities , Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 06: Gangtok To Darjeeling
- After breakfast start half day city tour of Gangtok covering Rumtek Monastery, JL Botanical Garden, Do-Dul Chorten, Institute of
- Tibetology(closed on Sunday), Flower show and , Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms(Closed On Sunday). After
- completion of Gangtok city tour , transfer to Darjeeling. Arrive Darjeeling transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 07 : In Darjeeling
- Early Morning at 0400 AM visit Tiger Hill ,famous for sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga,on way back visit Ghoom Monastery,
- Batasia Loop and back to hotel. After breakfast proceed for visit 7 points ,covering The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute &
- PNZ Zoological Park ( both closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tibetan self Help Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden
- (outer view), Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda & Ropeway ( operational ,ropeway ride ticket to be paid by guest directly) .
- Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 08 : Excursion To Mirik & Pashupati Market
- Today after breakfast we take you to MIRIK, a small picturesque hill station at 5100ft (1761m) with a beautiful lake surrounded
- by forested hills on all sides with the back drop of Mt Kanchenjunga. The drive to Mirik runs through some fascinating tea
- gardens and pine forests. Enjoy horse ride and boating at the lake, ( boating payment direct). On the way back to Darjeeling
- return via PASHUPATI MARKET in Nepal India border(need extra vehicle to enter into the market, direct payment).
- Return to Hotel in the afternoon and have free evening.
Day 09 : Darjeeling To Njp / Ixb
Morning free for packing & transfer to NJP Station or Bagdogra airport for return journey.
