Day 1: Arrival At Cochin
On arrival at Cochin you will be transferred to the hotel. Later visit Fort Cochin and proceed to visit the Dutch Palace (closed on Friday). Thereafter visit the Chinese Fishing nets. You can also proceed to a local auditorium for a performance of Kathakali one of the oldest theatre forms in the world that originated in Kerala. Overnight stay at the hotel in Cochin.
Day 2: Cochin To Munnar
After breakfast start a little early from Cochin and drive to Munnar. Munnar was the summer resort of British and now is one of the most popular hill stations in Kerala. Enjoy the stunning view of the Cardamom hills and greenery of the Tea plantations. Arrive and transfer to hotel. Relax and enjoy in the resort and overnight stay at the hotel in Munnar.
Day 3: Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast set out to visit Eravikulam National Park which can be visited by government vehicle where you can spot Nilgiri thar (at an additional cost, Closes at 5 pm). Take a full day sightseeing tour of Munnar, Covering Madupatty dam (boat ride at personal cost), Echo point / Kundala Lake and Top Station. Return to Munnar city have lunch (on your own) and visit Tea Museum and Tea Gardens. Evening back to the resort and overnight stay at the hotel in Munnar.
Day 4: Munnar To Thekkady
Today early morning after breakfast proceed for an exciting boat ride on the Periyar Lake, South India's most popular wildlife sanctuary. This is the only wildlife sanctuary in India that offers the unique opportunity to view wild life in their natural habitat at close quarters from the safety of a boat on the lake. Enjoy a boat ride in the lake (tickets to be purchased by queue) and if you are lucky you can watch young elephants drinking at the water's edge. Later enjoy elephant ride at the elephant junction. Evening will be at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Thekkady.
Day 5: Thekkady To Kovalam
After breakfast proceed to Kovalam. Check into the hotel and proceed to the sightseeing of famous temple Sree Padmanabhswamy. Later enjoy the Kovalam beaches. Tour ends with sweet memories.
