About the tour
Chennai was born as a metropolitan city soon after the British negotiated a strip of land from the King of Vijayanagar to build the fortified city, Fort St. George, in 1640. The ancient group of stone-carved monuments in the city is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, making Mahabalipuram one of the main tourist spots around Chennai. Pondicherry, recently renamed as Puducherry, is a town tucked away on the Eastern seaboard of India.

Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival At Chennai
Pickup from Chennai Airport/Railway station and proceed for local sightseeing covering Santhome Church, Guidy Snake Park, Egmore Govt Museum, Chariot in valluvar kottam, Marina Beach. After visit transfer to hotel for night halt.
Day 2: Chennai To Pondicherry
After breakfast drive to Pondicherry. On arrival at Pondicherry proceed for local sightseeing in Pondicherry at 08.00 AM and visit Aurobindo Ashramam, Mankula Vinayaga temple, Kamtchi amman temple, Sri Vedapuriswar temple, Auroville, Pondicherry Beach. After visit transfer to hotel for night halt.
Day 3: Pondicherry To Mahabalipuram
- After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Mahabalipuram.
- At Mahabalipuram visit the Remains of Pallava Dynasty. After visit drive back to Chennai. Drop at Hotel for Night Halt.
Day 4: Departure From Chennai
Day free for Shopping. Check out hotel by 12.00 noon later drop at Chennai Railway station / Airport.
