Day 1: Arrive Jammu – Katra

  • Meet upon arrival at Jammu Railway Station / airport, and proceed to Katra. The distance of about 47 kms will be covered in about 2 hrs. Arrive Srinagar and check in at Hotel
  • Dinner and overnight Hotel.

Day 2: Katra – Vaisnodevi Darshan – Katra

After breakfast, start your Holy Journey to Mata Vaisnodevi Darshan. Mata Vaishno Devi temple is one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Shakti and is the second most visited religious shrine in India after Tirupati Balaji Temple. Trek to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine (14 km), ponies can also be arranged by self (at your own cost) for the trek, return back to Katra late in evening/night Dinner and overnight Hotel in Katra.

Day 3: Katra – Pahalgam

  • After breakfast, depart for Pahalgam. (2440 Meters above Sea level). Distance of about 220 kms will be covered in about 7 hrs. Drive through the green pine forest and along theLidderRiver Pahalgam is also famous for Indian film Industry (Bollywood). On Pahalgam is also famous for some trekking routes & also base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage. Enjoy the Natural beauty, river and environs therein.

Day 4: In Pahalgam

  • After breakfast the day is free to explore Lidder valley at your own or you can :-
  • Option 1. Visit to Aru Valley which is a small village, 15 km upstream the Lidder River, The route is picturesque with ample campsites. This village is the starting point for treks to the Kolahoi glacier. Option 2. Vsist to Chandanwari, 16 Km which is the starting point of sacred Amarnath Yatra. Chandanwari is famous for snow sledging on a snow bridge, Enroute you can visit Hajan, an idyllic picnic spot and Betaab valley where the famous Bollywood movie Betaab was shot. Option 3. You can enjoy leisurely walks in pine forest along River Lidder and enjoy picnic on riverside. Option 4. You can enjoy pony ride to Baisaran meadow, surrounded by thickly wooded pine forest and snow-capped mountains. This grassy glen offers a panoramic view of Pahalgam town andLidderValley

Day 5: Pahalgam / Gulmarg ( 140 Km /3 ½ Hrs)

After breakfast check out of the Hotel and proceed to Gulmarg, Meadow of Flowers situated at an altitude of 2730 meters, Arrive Gulmarg and check in at Hotel for overnight stay. Enjoy the leisurely walks on the lush green meadows of flowers with a backdrop of the snow capped mountains. In winter, Gulmarg acquires a new persona that of the country’s premier skiing resort.. Day 6: Gulmarg / Srinagar (60 Kms / 2 Hrs)

Day 7: In Srinagar

  • Morning after breakfast sightseeing of Mughal gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure), built by Asif Khan brother-in-law of Jehangir in 1632 AD, Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. These beautiful mountains are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountainsin the background. Distance fromSrinagaris about 12 and 15 kms respectively. Enroute, visit a carpet weaving factory. Also visitShankrachariyaTempleto have Darshan and Bird’s eye view of Srinagar city and famous Dal Lake.

Day 8: Srinagar/sonamarg/srinagar

  • After breakfast, leave for full day excursion of Sonamarg “Meadows of Gold” which is one of the most beautiful drives fromSrinagar. (84 Km/2 ½ hrs/). Sonamarg is located at a height of 2690 meters. You may take a pony ride (at your own cost) to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year. It serves as the base for the treks to Harmukh range via Nichnai,Vishensar Lake, Gangabal and to Nara Nag .This place is famous for Trout fishing.
  • Dinner & Overnight in the Houseboat/hotel.

Day 9: Srinagar/jammu

After breakfast drive back to Jammu airport / railway station.
