ExpandDay 1: Arrival At Cochin And Transfer To Alleppey
Meet and assistance on arrival at Cochin airport or railway station and drive to Alleppey. Referred to as the Venice of East by travelers from across the world, this backwater country is home to diverse animal and bird life. Alleppey is also famous for its boat races, beaches, marine products and coir industry. On arrival to Alleppey check into the houseboat - check in time 1.00 PM. Full day enjoy the backwater cruise through Vembanad Lake. Overnight stay in Houseboat.
Day 2: Alleppey To Varkala
After breakfast check out from houseboat at 10:00 AM and drive to Varkala. On arrival check into hotel. Evening enjoy at Varkala Beach. Overnight stay in Varkala.
Day 3: Varkala Sightseeing
After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing in and around Varkala. It is thick with coconut trees that house many kinds of wildlife, bird life and butterflies. Varkala's main beach, Papanasam is long and golden with a stunning backdrop of red laterite cliffs from which healing mineral water springs forth. Varkala is home of an ancient Janardhanaswamy Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu that was largely rebuilt in the 13th century. In February and March every year the temple becomes a site of pilgrimage for thousands of devotees. Overnight stay in Varkala .
Day 4: Departure
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Trivandrum airport or railway station for onward journey.
