About the tour
Darjeeling is located in the Shivalik hills of the lower range of the Himalayas. Like most other hill stations in India, the British developed Darjeeling as a respite from the summer heat in the plains. The British loved the town for the complete rejuvenation package that it offered - serene atmosphere, view of the snowline, scented pines and a golden colored brew called the Darjeeling tea.

Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 01 : Arrival At New Jalpaiguri Railway Station/bagdogra Transfer To Gangtok
You will be met upon arrival by our representative in New Jalpaiguri railway station/Bagdogra. Visit Salugara Monastery. Transfer to Gangtok. Spend evening at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02 : Gangtok Sightseeing
After breakfast visit Rumtek Monastery, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Do-drul Chorten or Stupa and Enchey Monastry. Overnight stay at hotel in Gangtok.
Day 03 : Gangtok To Pelling
After breakfast visit Phodong Monastery. Transfer to Pelling. Overnight stay in Hotel at Pelling.
Day 04 : Pelling To Yuksom
After breakfast visit Khechipalri Lake, Pemayangtsy Monastery. Transfer to Yuksom. Overnight at Yuksom.
Day 05 : Yuksom To Darjeeling
Visit Tashiding Monastery. Transfer to Darjeeling.
Day 06 : Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early morning excursion to Tiger Hill (8364 Ft / 2550 Meters) at around 3:45am for viewing sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (if the weather is favorable). After breakfast visit Ghoom Monastery and Dali Monastery.
Day 07 : Departure From Darjeeling
After Breakfast Transfer from Darjeeling to New Jalpaiguri railway station.
