Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Srinagar To Kargil
Morning leave for Kargil. Enroute visit Sonamarg and Zodjila Pass. Also visit Drass Village (2nd Coldest Inhabitant place in the World) for War Memorial Hall and Museu. Reach Kargil by evening. Overnight stay at Kargil.
Day 2: Kargil – Batalik – Dha – Sham Valley
Morning after breakfast leave to visit Batalik (one of the most famous war front zone fought by the Indian soldiers in 1999 with Pakistan). Later visit Dha and Beema (Land of Ancient Aryans who still exist here). Overnight stay at Sham Valley.
Day 3: Sham Valley To Leh
After breakfast drive to Leh. Enroute visit Alchi Monastery, Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara and Hall of Fame Museum. Overnight stay at Leh.
Day 4: Leh To Nubra Valley
After breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (Highest Motorable road in the world, 18,380 ft). Post lunch, enjoy the camel safari at Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hundur Village. Overnight stay at Nubra Valley.
Day 5: Visit Hunder And Tyakshi
After breakfast drive to Turtuk (which is first time opened for the tourist since 2010). This village was captured by Indians Army in war of 1972 with Pakistan. Enroute visit Tyakshi (it is the border which divides India and Pakistan). Overnight stay at Nubra Valley.
Day 6: Nubra Valley To Leh
After breakfast visit Deskit Monastery (Big Buddha), where you can have a magnificent view of Nubra Valley and drive back to Leh by same route, crossing Khardung La Pass. Overnight stay at Leh.
Day 7: Leh To Pangong Lake
After breakfast leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, through Chang La Pass 17,350 ft, 3rd highest Motorable road in the world. Arrival at Camp. Later free time for leisure and enjoy the color changing lake and the sun set on the banks of lake. Overnight stay at Pangong.
Day 8: Pangong To Leh
Early morning enjoy the picturesque view of sun rise on the lake. After breakfast drive back to Leh. Enroute visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. Overnight stay at Leh.
Day 9: Leh To Nyoma
After breakfast drive to Nyoma (first time opened for the tourist in 2010). Enroute visit Chumathang (Hot Spring) along the Indus River. If permitted, then tourist can reach upto Handle and return back to Nyoma. Overnight stay at Nyoma.
Day 10: Nyoma To Tsomoriri
Morning after breakfast drive to Tsomoriri Lake. Spend your evening on the lake by leisure walk on the banks of lake. Overnight stay at Tsomoriri.
