Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival At Guwahati – Half-day Sightseeing (Only Possible If Flight Is Arriving Before 10 Am)
Arrive at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station. Meet and greet, then transfer to your hotel for check-in and refreshments. Later, visit the famous Kamakya Temple, take a ride on the Brahmaputra River Ropeway, and visit the serene Umananda Temple located on Peacock Island. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Guwahati.
Day 2: Guwahati – Kaziranga
After breakfast, drive to Kaziranga National Park, home to the one-horned rhinoceros. En route, enjoy the scenic views of Kaziranga Forests and Tea Gardens. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. In the evening, visit the Kaziranga Orchid Park and enjoy a traditional Bihu Dance Performance, a vibrant showcase of Assamese culture. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Day 3: Kaziranga Safari – Shillong
Early morning, enjoy a thrilling jeep safari in the central range of Kaziranga (optional/additional cost). After breakfast, proceed towards Shillong – known as the “Scotland of the East.” En route, stop at the picturesque Umiam Lake for photo opportunities. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Shillong.
Day 4: Excursion To Cherrapunjee
After breakfast, take a full-day excursion to Cherrapunjee, one of the wettest places on Earth. Visit major attractions such as Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Arwah Cave, Eco Park, Ram Krishna Mission, and the iconic Living Root Bridge. Return to Shillong for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Excursion To Mawlynnong & Dawki
After breakfast, drive to Mawlynnong, known as the Cleanest Village in Asia. Explore the village, walk on the Sky Walk, and see the unique Living Root Bridge. Later, drive to Dawki, located on the India–Bangladesh border, and enjoy the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River. Return to Shillong in the evening. Overnight stay at Shillong
Day 6: Shillong Halfday Sightseeing – Guwahati Via Umiam Lake.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to Guwahati. En route, stop again at Umiam Lake for a short break. Upon arrival in Guwahati, proceed for a half-day city tour covering Wards Lake, Don Bosco Museum, Lady Hydari Park, and Elephant Falls. Later, check in to your hotel. Overnight stay in Guwahati.
Day 7: Departure From Guwahati
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey with pleasant memories.
