Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival New Jalpaiguri Station To Pheuntsholing
Meet and greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri Station / IXB and transfer to Pheuntsholing – The Gateway of Bhutan by road from India, Pheuntsholing (also sometimes spelled Phuntsholing) is the second largest town in Bhutan (population around 40,000) and is located on the Indian border, next to the town of Jaigaon. Evening free. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Transfer To Thimphu
After permit transfer to Thimphu. Check into the hotel. Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 3: Thimphu To Paro
After breakfast visit Takin Zoo, BBS Tower, Chang Gangkha Monastery, Buddha Point, Changlimthang Stadium and Archery ground. Later drive to Paro on arrival check into the hotel. Visit local market and Kyichu Lhakhang ( If time permits ). Return at hoteland overnight stay at Paro.
Day 4: Paro To Phuentsholing
After check out drive to Dooars in India (190kms / 06 – 07 hrs). It’s a famous Wild Life Sanctuary for one horned rhino and Indian elephant. Overnight stay at hotel / Resort.
Day 5: Dooars ( Lataguri) To Ixb / New Jalpaiguri Station
In the morning you can enjoy Jeep safari ( optional- own cost ) inside the grassland of Dooars to watch the great Indian Rhino in their natural habitat. Later drive to Bagdogra / New Jalpaiguri station to your onward journey. Tour Ends with sweet memories.
