Sariska Weekend

Upon your arrival in Jaipur, our representatives will greet and help with your luggage and transfer to your accommodation. We immediately head for Sariska and provide assistance with your check-in process before letting you freshen up after a long journey here. Spend the rest of the day looking around on your own or rest up today before we start the tour tomorrow. Spend overnight at the hotel in Sariska.

• Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel before we head out for a half-day trip to Sariska Tiger Reserve. This is a wildlife sanctuary about 881 km² wide, inhabited by protected animals from Bengal tigers. The protected habitat also frequently sees jungle cats, chital, and beautiful aviary species like the crested serpent eagles and sand grouse.
• Then we’ll head to Alwar after an exciting ride through the jungle. The Bala Quila is our first destination here, featuring the oldest building of the city after it was built in 928 CE. It’s also known as the Alwar Fort, best known for its excellent viewpoint and panoramic view of Alwar. After the fort, we continue to the City Palace of Alwar which is just at the foothills of Aravalli and is also known as Vinay Vilas Mahal. It is a functioning government building with exquisite mixture of 18th century Rajput and Mughal architecture styles.
• The ride continues to visit the cenotaph built by Vinay Singh for Maharaja Bakhtawar Singh and his Queen, Rani Moosi, the Moosi Maharani Ki Chhatri. Built in 1815, this gorgeous cenotaph is iconic for its red sandstone in the bottom and marble glow on the top. Not far is the Vijay Mandir Palace, a picturesque lakeside complex with tranquil atmosphere with beautiful gardens. The complex features 105 rooms and houses Sita Ram Temple that’s still visited by believers. After sightseeing in Alwar, we’ll ride back to the hotel for overnight stay.

• We’re going to head out early morning to Sariska National Park. At an additional cost, take part in the wildlife safari at the park to spot the Bengal tigers and other rare animals. There’s also the Sloth Bear, Jungle Cats, Caracal, Hyenas, Rhesus Macaque, and many more. Don’t miss out on this unique experience while you’re here!
• We’re going to ride back to your hotel for breakfast after the jungle ride. Then we’ll check out from the hotel for your ride to Jaipur to be dropped off at the airport. We bid you farewell after the trip.
