Day 1: Arrive Bangalore And Drive To Wayanad
Our representative will meet you in Bangalore and we will start early morning for a 250 kilometer / 5 hour drive to Wayanad and check into the hotel. Views in wayanad will delight you with the green sight of mountains covered with tea gardens, historical caves like Edakkal caves hiding some secrets of the past in the pre historic inscriptions, small water falls, streams and rivulets caressing the hills and dales. You can also visit Lakkidi - the Gateway of Wayanad (700 Mts MSL), at the shell of Thamarassery Ghat pass or Pookot lake - 3 km south of Vythiri. The enduring fresh water lake nestled among wooded hills. Overnight stay at the resort in Wayanad.
Day 2: Wayanad Sightseeing
After breakfast, spend the day in local sightseeing of Wayanad and start with a trekking to the Chembra peak to view the incredible scenic beauty which is 2100 meters above sea level. From Chembra hill, we get the view of Neelimala view point and Vaduvanchal which is an excellent venue for trekking with lots of inspiring trails. There is a heart shaped lake at the top of the chembara peak. You can also view other touist attractions in Wayanad like Soochipara Waterfalls, Edakkel Caves, Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary, Jain Temple, Kuruva Island etc. Return to wayanad for overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Departure From Wayand To Bangalore
Checkout from the hotel after breakfast and proceed to Bangalore. En route visit Pazhassiraja Museum and Art Gallery, (5 Km from the town) that displays megalithic relics, historic coins, murals and paintings by ancient artists of Kerala. We will drop you back at Bangalore for the departure.
