We start with Siddhivinayak Mandir, famed as the go-to temple for politicians and major Bollywood stars located in Prabhadevi, Mumbai, Maharashtra. Also known as Navsacha Ganapati, you can worship Lord Shri Ganesha at the “Desire Fulfilling Shrine of Greater Mumbai.” Built in 1801 by Laxman Vithu and Deubai Patil, it’s currently one of the richest temples in India. Shree Ganesh is the first to be worshipped before beginning any new project or venture as he is the destroyer of obstacles (Vighnaharta). Shri Siddhi Vinayaka, the presiding deity of this temple is believed to grant one's desires and wishes as per a common belief among Vinayaka [Ganesha] devotees. In fact "Siddhi" means attainment. Then we go on a lunch break before heading to the next temple. It was built in 1801 by a childless, rich woman who prays to be given an offspring and believe that Lord Ganesha will grant the same to others.
Shree Mahalaxmi Temple is an important temple to Hindu believers, dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi, who’s the central deity of Devi Mahatmyam. The temple itself is a historically wonderful building with architecture from the 1830s, constructed by Hindu merchant Dhakji Dadaji. The Mahalaxmi temple contains images of the Tridevi goddesses Mahakali, Mahalakshmi, and Mahasaraswati. All three images are adorned with nose rings, gold bangles and pearl necklaces. The image of Mahalakshmi is in the center shown holding lotus flowers in tandem. The compound of this temple contains several stalls that sell flower garlands and other paraphernalia used by devotees for worship and as offering. You can also buy Souvenir from nearby shops. After enjoy the Darshan of this temple, we return to the hotel and spend the rest of your free time on leisure.
We’ll spend the night in Mumbai after a delightful dinner.

Day 3: Transfer From Mumbai To Shirdi (6 Hours’ Drive 260 Km Approx.)
After breakfast, we check-out from the hotel and head for Shirdi. This town in Maharashtra is the former home of spiritual leader Sai Baba and is a major pilgrimage destination for Hindu. We check-in at the hotel when we arrived.
We’ll visit Gurushtan in the evening, a prominent “place of the Guru” where Baba spent most of his time when first came to Shirdi. And it was said that it was also where his own guru was buried, by the neem tree.
Sai Baba of Shirdi is being remembered at the Sai Baba Temple complex every day, our next destination, built to honour the legacy of the man who died in 1918 in Shirdi. There’s the Sri Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir where an ornate marble statue of Sai Baba was erected next to its tomb. And not far from there, we will visit Dwarkamai, which is a mosque where Sai Baba used to stay in and referred to as “a mother.”
Anyone can pray to Sai Baba, a man known to preach self-realization. His worshippers uphold three important values: honesty, peace, and forgiveness. On Thursday, offering food to Sai Baba is meant to ask for his blessings and purge one of all sins.
Then to Chavadi, which is another significantly important place in relation to Sai Baba as that’s where he spends his nights a lot in. This village is where Baba was moved to after he was evacuated from the mosque, turning it into a sanctified location. Today, it has a shrine for Baba and is open for public. You don’t want to miss the museum as well to learn all you want about Sai Baba and the history of the place. We’ll attend the VIP Darshan at 8 PM.
Rows of shops line up the streets that lead to the temple serving as great places to also shop for gifts. Starting from marble and fiber statues, one can find laminated portraits, key rings, rosaries, garlands made with fresh flowers and with plastic/cloth flowers, all kinds of dry fruits, etc.
We return back to the hotel after dinner and spend overnight in Shirdi.
