(self-guided sightseeing). Experience the charm of the southern Mediterranean as we arrive at Split, the largest city along the Adriatic coast. Its beauty captivated IV Century Roman Emperor Diocletian, who built his palace here. Check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3: Split - Hvar (Blue Cave Tour) - Split

Visit all the highlights of the Adriatic Sea in one day and let the natural phenomenon of the Blue Cave leave you breathless with its incredible light effects. The island of Hvar is a destination that seems to emanate every possible superlative. Lavender fields set the scene, historical towns provide urban beauty and super yachts lull in the calm aquamarine waters. Conde Nast called it one of the top ten islands in the world, and it is impossible not to be won over. Nature’s indulgence is found on the islands around Hvar. There is the Blue Cave on Bisevo Island with its water a supernatural color that cannot be captured on photos. Ravnik Island has blissful swimming spots, like the Green Cave and a lagoon backed by mesmerizing cliffs. Then Pakleni Islands provides languid beach time along with fresh seafood dining and wonderfully warm waters. You will explore all of these islands on a full-day boat tour from Hvar, returning back to Split towards evening.

Day 4: Split Local Tour - Transfer To Dubrovnik

  • We begin our sightseeing tour of Split with a visit to the lofty Diocletain's palace. Meet your guide outside Diocletian Palace and then head inside to discover the delights of its incredible ruins. Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the palace was originally built as a lavish home for the Roman Emperor Diocletian, but became more like a city in its own right as more buildings were added to it throughout the ages.
  • Start with a tour of the cellars to explore its network of subterranean tunnels, and then head back above ground to visit Peristyle Square as your guide regales you with tales about flamboyant Emperor Diocletian. Walk around, soaking up the square’s hustle and bustle, and admire the beautiful Cathedral of St Duje – named after the city’s patron saint. Visit the Temple of Jupiter, and then finish your morning tour at colorful Split Market, where your guide will give you tips for the best stalls to visit.
  • Later in the afternoon begin your journey along the Makarska Riviera, gradually winding your way between the mountains and the sea as you make your way towards the globally-coveted town of Dubrovnik. After settling into your hotel this afternoon, consider stepping out through the gates to explore the seaside in the afternoon. Search out your perfect rock shelf, where you can soak in some sun before diving into the effervescent Adriatic Sea. Or perhaps consider renting a kayak to catch a glimpse of this walled-city and the surrounding islands from the Mediterranean. Return to the Old Town for the evening.

Day 5: Game Of Thrones Tour

Meet the marvels of the city of Dubrovnik and the fantasy world of the series. Climb Fortress Lovrijenac, the Red Keep and admire the views of the old town but also to see the Kings Landing, the Battle of Blackwater Bay, and the House of the Undying dungeon. Your guide tells you about the marvels of city and fantasy world of the series and how the two live together. Take the boat ride to the exotic Island of Lokrum to hear about its history and its more recent development into the magical town of Quarth.

Day Excursion To Elaphite Islands

  • Soak up the sunshine and gentle breezes as the boat lazily cuts through peaceful waters heading to an almost forgotten world. Join this day long trip and discover the delights of the Elaphite Islands, an oasis in the Adriatic. Made up of eight islands, the Elaphites are incredibly picturesque and well worth a visit. Covered by luscious Mediterranean vegetation they are a green oasis of scented citrus plantations, pine clad hills, and palm trees. Pretty sandy beaches are perfect for lazing around in the sun or splashing in the crystal clear waters. The trip takes in the three inhabited islands (Kalamota, Lopud and Šipan) and gives you the chance to experience island life at its purest. Relatively untouched by tourism, you feel like you have entered another world where the pace of life is slow and traditions are maintained. As you stroll along the promenade it will appear that life on the islands has remained the same for a long time with men fishing and chatting or playing cards in the local cafes whilst ladies sit on the porch and do their fine needle work.
  • Wander around charming hamlets, admire the lovely gardens and see some beautiful renaissance churches, chapels and Romanesque ruins. Then listen and be enchanted by the many legends and stories that emanate from these shores: stories of coral divers, ship builders and sea captains that will make these dreamy islands come alive for you, if only for a day.

Day 7: Departure From Dubrovnik

Today morning check-out from your hotel. Later you will be transferred to the airport to catch your return flight back home.
