About the tour

Spain is one of the most diverse and visually stunning nations of Europe. It is a country of passion, excitement and vibrancy unlike any other in Western Europe. 'Joie de vivre' may be a French phrase, but it could have been written about Spain - for the Spanish certainly know how to live.

On your arrival in Madrid, meet our representative and you will be transferred to your hotel. Unwind for a while and then you can explore your surroundings.

Day 2: Madrid Sightseeing Tour With Prado Museum

Today morning, proceed for a half day guided tour of Madrid. See the main sights including Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace, Plaza de los Cibeles and much more, then enjoy an in-depth guided tour of the world-famous Prado to study works by the likes of Hieronymus Bosch, El Greco, Velazquez and Goya. Discover the wealth of grandiose Renaissance and baroque architecture bequeathed by the Habsburg and Bourbon monarchs while driving through the Puerta Del Sol, Plaza Mayor and Plaza de la Villa. Continue towards the Royal Palace – the largest in Europe – and the famous Cibeles and Neptuno fountains, and the Puerta de Alcala. Explore contemporary Madrid with boulevards such as Gran Via, Paseo de la Castellana, the upmarket district of Salamanca, Plaza de Castilla, Parque del Oeste, the university, the emblematic Las Ventas Bullring and the Bernabeu Stadium. Visit the Prado Museum, home to some of the greatest artworks ever created, and study the works of four masters. Later in the afternoon you are free to explore Madrid on your own. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3: Transfer From Madrid To Valencia

Today check-out and travel on your own to the Madrid railway station to take the high speed train to Valencia. After 4 and half hours, you will reach Valencia. Reach the hotel on your own. Check-in and relax for some time.

Day 4: Valencia Hop On Hop Off Tour

Today proceed for Hop on Hop off Tour of Valencia. Explore Valencia at your own leisure while enjoying the sights from the comfort of a hop on-hop off a double-decker bus. Meander through the historic old town with Route A and head out to the coast on Route B. This route now has a new stop at Paseo de la Alameda at the door of the Archivo Municipal, which will allow you to visit the Mestalla Forever Tour and the Museum of Military History. Return back to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer From Valencia To Barcelona

Today morning, check-out from your hotel. You will be transferred to the train station to take the high speed train from Valencia to Barcelona. The journey takes around 3 and half hours. Upon arrival at Barcelona you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Check-in and relax for some time.

Day 6: Barcelona Hop On Hop Off Tour

Today you will have the opportunity to experience the city on your pace with the sightseeing Hop on-Hop off tour. Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, is a Mediterranean and cosmopolitan city with Roman remains, medieval quarters and beautiful examples of 20th century Modernism and avant-garde. It is no surprise that emblematic constructions by the Catalan architects Antoni Gaudí and Lluís Doménech i Montaner have been declared World Heritage Sites by the UNESCO. The city’s original site, which was surrounded by walls in the Roman period, is today the Barrio Gótico (Gothic Quarter). Along narrow streets, with small squares and charming corners, you will find civil and religious Gothic constructions, and medieval palaces standing around the impressive cathedral. The Plaça del Rei is a square with an array of spectacular buildings and at the Plaça de Sant Jaume you can find important institutions, such as the Regional Parliament and the City Hall. On the other hand, one of the best places to catch the rhythm of the city is called Las Ramblas, one of the main arteries of the historic quarter. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 7: Barcelona - Ibiza

This morning you will be transferred to the airport in Barcelona for your domestic flight to Ibiza. On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel or resort. Rest of the day is free for you to explore Ibiza on your own.

Day Trip To Formentera

Spend a day in paradise in this day trip by ferry to the island of Formentera. This beautiful island is just two miles to the south of Ibiza but it is a world away from the hustle and bustle of its bigger brasher sister. It's also a paradise for sunworshippers with some of the best beaches in the Med. Catch a modern ferry from the port of Ibiza across to La Sabina, Formentera's sleepy capital and return whenever you feel like - there are plenty of crossings to choose from. Formentera is the smallest inhabited island in the Balearics. You'll find dazzlingly whitewashed sugar cube houses, unspoilt sandy beaches and unbelievably crystal clear waters. The whole island seems virtually untouched by the modern world - you'll find few cars and no high rise buildings. It is like travelling back in time to the Mediterranean that existed before mass tourism. Return back to Ibiza for overnight stay.

Day 9: Departure From Ibiza

Today morning, check-out from your hotel. You will be transferred to the airport to catch your return flight.
