Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival At Gangtok
Arrival at New Jalpaiguri railway station / Bagdogra airport. Transfer to Gangtok. Check in the hotel. Visit M.G. Marg by walking and evening individual activities. Overnight stay at hotel in Gangtok.
Day 2: Tsomgo Lake And Baba Mandir
After breakfast depart for full day excursion trip to Tsomgo Lake (12400 feet) and Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir which is only 32 km from Gangtok, the lake is about 1 km long, oval in shape and 15 meters deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people. Spend the evening at Gangtok for shopping and individual activity. Overnight stay at hotel in Gangtok. (In case of Land slide or any reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing).
Day 3: Gangtok Full Day Tour
After breakfast you will start your full day Gangtok tour which will cover Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Center, Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday and government Holidays), Directorate of Handicrafts and Handloom (Closed on Sunday and Government Holidays), Dro-drul Chorten, Nam Nang View Point (Ropeway on direct payment basis), Burtuk Falls, Ranka Monastery, Enchey Monastery and Banjakhri Falls. Evening back to hotel and overnight stay.
Day 4: Gangtok To Darjeeling
After breakfast, transfer to Darjeeling (7380 feet / 2250 meters, 115 Kms / 04 to 05 Hrs). Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5: Darjeeling City Tour
Early in the morning before dawn at 4 AM proceed to Tiger Hill to watch the breathtaking sunrise and its reflection rays over the Khancendzonga Ranges. On the way back Visit Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery back to hotel at 7 AM. After Freshen up and breakfast at the hotel visit to Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Center, Tea Estate (outer view), Ava art Gallery and Japanese temple, Peace Pagoda, Labong Race Course and Rope Way. Overnight stay at hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 6: Departure
Departure from Darjeeling with sweet memories.
