Day 1: Arrival In Mumbai
Upon arrival at the Mumbai airport or railway station, you’ll be transferred to the hotel we’ve pre-booked before the tour. We’ll let you rest after reaching the capital and suggest you do a little bit of exploring around the area or shop at nearby shopping centers before returning to the hotel to rest for the night.

We start the Ajanta Caves tour early after you finish your breakfast. The Ajanta Caves are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre, an incredible collection of rock-cut Buddhist monuments that date back as far as the 2nd century BCE. The wall paintings and rock carvings were gradually added as one room after another was added for half a millennia until there were 30 before it was excavated in 1819. The structure was dug out from a vertical cliff of Ajanta hills, facing the west part of the river Waghora. Return back to hotel and overnight stay.
