Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 01 : Cochin To Munnar
Arrive Cochin and transfer directly to Munnar. This beautiful hills of Munnar are covered with lush green tea gardens having pleasant climate of around 18-22 degree throughout the year. Late afternoon visit the Munnar town for fresh tea grown locally. Overnight at Tall Trees Resort or similar. (Dinner). (165 Kms – 4 Hrs).
Day 02 : Munnar
Sightseeing tour covers place like Devikulam Tea Garden, Lockharat Gap, Sterling Cascade, Mattupetty Dam, Indo Swiss Cattle Project and the Top Station (Breakfast and Dinner).
Day 03 : Munnar To Thekkady
After hearty Breakfast start for the Thekkady. Afternoon you can enjoy the motorboat on the placid lake for a breathtaking view of the Elephant herds and birds on your own. Evening shop for the famous Thekkady spices (89 Kms – 03 Hrs) (Breakfast at Munnar and Dinner at Thekkady). Overnight stay at Green Wood/ Green Forest or similar.
Day 04 : Thekkady To Kollam
After breakfast start for the Backwater – a chain of brackish lagoons and lakes lying parallel to the Arabian Sea coast. Late afternoon take a backwaters cruise organized by the resort (subject of weather conditions). Evening free at leisure or enjoy the local artist performance in the resort. Overnight at Raviz`s Backwater Resort or similar. (Breakfast at Thekkady, Dinner at Kollam) (220 Kms – 06 hrs)
Day 05 : Kollam
30 minutes drive would take you to Varkala beach. Rest of the day at leisure or take a well treatment or enjoy the facilities of the resort. (Breakfast and Dinner).
Day 06 : Kollam To Kovalam
Start for Kovalam Beach. Kovalam means a grove of coconut tress and true to its name the village offers an endless sight of coconut trees. Overnight at The Leela/ Uday Samudra Beach Resort or similar. (Breakfast at Kollam and Dinner at Kovalam). (80 Kms– 02 ).
Day 07 : Kovalam
You can enjoy the full day at the beach or take half day excursion to Trivandrum city. (Breakfast and Dinner).
Day : Kovalam To Trivandrum
Day free till you transfer to Trivandrum to start your return journey. (Breakfast).
