Bandhavgarh is spread over an area of 448 sq kms and has vast stretches of grasslands spread over 32 hills. It boasts of the one of highest density of tigers in the world, besides Healthy population of Cheetal, Sambhar and Barking Deer. Kanha Tiger Reserve's spectacular Sal and Bamboo forest, rolling grasslands and meandering streams stretch over 1945 sq. km. in the heart of central highlands. This is the original Kipling country so fondly written about in his Jungle Book.
Day 1: Arrival To Jabalpur To Bandhavgarh
Day 2 : Bandhavgarh Sightseeing
Early Morning proceed for a Jungle Safari in the park. Back to the hotel for Breakfast. Post lunch enjoy an evening Jungle Safari. Later Dinner at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Bandhavgarh.
Day 3 : Bandhavgarh To Kanha
This morning after breakfast proceed to Kanha (300 kms / 6 Hrs Drive approx). Arrive Kanha and check in to your hotel. Kanha is situated in the central state of Madhya Pradesh. Kanha shelters one of the largest tigers populations in the country. Some of the inhabitants of this park are the gaur, the largest of the world's cattle; the sambar, the largest Indian deer; and the chausingha, the only four-horned antelope in the world. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Kanha.
Day 4: Kanha Sightseeing
Early Morning proceed for a Jungle Safari in the park. Back to the hotel for Breakfast. Kanha is a Kipling country and the nearby forests were the setting for the "Jungle Book" by Rudyard Kipling. Post lunch enjoy an evening Jungle Safari. Later Dinner at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Kanha.
Day 5: Departure From Kanha
This morning after breakfast proceed to Jabalpur (200 Kms/4 hrs drive approx). Arrive and proceed to the airport to board the flight for your onward destination.
