Omkareshwar is a Hindu temple dedicated to God Shiva, is one of the 12 revered Jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. It is on an island called Mandhata in the Narmada River. The shape of the island is said to be like the Hindu symbol. Maheshwar is located 13 km east of National Highway 3 and 91 km from Indore, the commercial capital of the Madhya Pradesh. The town lies on the north bank of the Narmada River and was the capital of the Holkar.
Day 01 : Arrival At Ujjani
Arrival at Ujjani Railway station / Indore Airport (60 kms.). Our Representatives welcome you at the Railway station / Airport and escorts you to at Hotel at Ujjani – Situated at bank of the sacred river Shipra. Later, visit Mahakaleshwar Temple (ne of the twelve Jyothirlingas, is the most famous and vanerated Shiva Temple), Bade Ganeshji Ka Mandir, Sandeep Mahaamuni Ashramam (Where lord rishna was educated with Balrama ans Sudama from Maharshi Sandipani), Bhartrihari Caves, Harsiddhi Temple, Mangladas Mandir, Mahakleshwari Shaktipeeth.
Day 02 : Omkareshwar
Post Breakfast, Checkout from the Hotel and drive to Omkareshwar (145 km. / 3.5 hrs.), Situated at the bank of river Narmada. On arrival, visit Omkar Mandhata Temple, Siddnath Temple. Later drive to Maheshwar (70 kms.). Check into hotel.
Day 03 : Departure
After breakfast check out from the hotel. Proceed to visit famous Shiva Temple situated at the bank of river Narmada and then drive to Indore (80 kms.), enroute visit Annapurna Temple. You may take yours train / flight from Indore or Proceed further (55 kms.) to Ujjani Railway station for onward journey.
