There is a family room with Inglenook and log burning stove, which leads out to a large decked area with barbecue and hot tub. There is also a large formal reception room with marble fireplace. Seasonal vegetables are available from the organic garden and greenhouse, and in-house cuisine with local produce can be arranged upon request.The area surrounding Abhainn Lodge is steeped in history; the UNESCO World Heritage site of Brú na Boinne at Newgrange, the Neolithic sites of Knowth and Dowth, Loughcrew Cairns and much more are nearby. For golfing enthusiasts, Abhainn Lodge is within a short drive of many famous courses, including Headfort, Kileen, Black Bush and Royal Tara golf clubs.
