Very pleasant to spend a little time on the hill top that inspired Agnes views expressed in her books.
A classic house from the pre-war period, although it was rebuild after the war and this is what you see today.
Today it is a 100m from the English tearooms so you can visit both but for a real experience walk up from Sandakan and back down again.
