Akhara Bazar is a popular as one of the main bazaars and shopping areas of Kullu. It has a number of shop and selling Kullu caps and woolen apparels. A huge crowd of tourists can be seen there to buy local desing patterns  shawls, pattoos, gudmas, puhlas and namdas or rugs.
