Amthane dam is one of the fabulous dam in Goa, which attracts a large number of tourist to this place. It is located within 20 km from Mapusa. Currently it is not developed as a tourist destination but it is a nice place to spend your time happily. Even though this dam is small, it is very eye-catching place to visit. The main purpose of the dam is to supply fresh water to Sanquelim water therapy plant.
