An Teach Bán B&B is a modern, spacious, family home. It is situated in the picturesque vaillage of Emyvale, just 11 kilometres from Monaghan Town. Owners Anna and Fergus Murray have operated the B&B since 1998 and have watched it flourish with visitors coming, not only from Ireland, but from every corner of the globe. A look at the guest book will confirm this and it is also evidence of how much guests have enjoyed their stay at An Teach Bán.All rooms are spacious, well designed and are finished to a very high standard. Access is available from a large, secure car park at the rear. Adjacent to the car park is a large, well maintained garden for guest use, ideal for a picnic, or just chilling out and enjoying the tranquility.The village has shops, pubs, restaruant, leisure centre and pharmacy, doctor's surgery and bike shop. For activity seekers it's all here or nearby. Walking enthusiasts will enjoy Emy Lake and the surrounding roads and lanes (1 mile from B&B). Cyclists, whether casual or serius, will enjoy the network of quiet, scenic roads on both sides of the border. The local club, Emyvale, run various tours and regular spins throughout the year.Other amenities include an equestrian centre, rally school and golf courses. There are many areas in the locality worth a visit, notable among tyhem are Glaslough village and Castle Leslie. Anne and Fergus are very committed to retaining their reputation for their warm, caring and homely approach and are looking forward to meeting you one and all.
