This God is famous for his love for Banana.Anantha Padmanabha means, Rama and Lakshmana together as the legend says that Rama had promised Lakshmana that they would be together in Kaliyuga and Seetha Maatha(Lakshmi) is belived to be in the lake which is called "Padmasarovara".
