As the name suggests, Antiques of the Orient boasts unique artefacts from Asia's colonial past. There are delicate Chinese porcelain, furniture, rare maps and prints, along with Antiquarian books.

Here, you a™ll find old maritime charts of Southeast Asia and postcards and photographs from the 19th century, as well as Japanese items such as woodblock prints, porcelain and pieces of art. You can also uncover prints of maps charting the 16th and 17th century voyages that were used by numerous Dutch explorers on their travels through Asia.

One of the shop's most intriguing items is its collection of old letters and books by Sir Stamford Raffles the founder of modern day Singapore and his wife Lady Raffles.
