Arabiakeskus is located in the old factory building of Arabia, one of the oldest porcelain manufacturers in Finland. Nowadays there are factory outlets and retail shops of several brand names of Finnish design. The most well-known brands include Iittala and Arabia tableware, Hackman and Opa pans and cutlery, and Finlayson linen. One can find, for example, the popular Moomin dishes and textiles here. There are also smaller brands like Pentik and Kultakeramiikka dishes and Aarikka wooden jewelry. There is a roomy café in the building, which is also a cafeteria during the school year, where one can lunch with students from nearby art schools. - Kati Hurme
