The Archaeological Museum was opened in the year 2001 and it houses several antiquities and artefacts. These rare collections represent the development of local civilization from the Paleolithic Era to the times of the Vijayanagara Empire. This ancient museum has been divided into three different sections i.e. the sculptural gallery, the archaeological section and the bronze decorative gallery.
