Ard na Breátha is family run guesthouse with Theresa working front of house and Albert the head chef. Their emphasis is on providing guests with the utmost comfort and customer care. You will be assured of a warm Irish welcome, in the cosy lounge, complete with open hearth, which has lovely views of the Bluestack Mountains, and the split-level dining room is overlooking the market town of Donegal. The guest bedrooms are situated on the site of an old barn and linked to the restaurant by a covered walkway thus ensuring utmost privacy for residents. The ensuite bedrooms, all with bath, are decorated in traditional country style, with wrought iron beds, wool rugs and traditional pine furniture. All rooms have tea/coffee facilities, TV, direct dial telephone, hair dryer, alarm clocks and WiFi internet access. They have family rooms, double and twin rooms available. There is car parking for guests. Following a refreshing sleep, one can enjoy the beautiful breakfast buffet of fruit juices, cereals, home-made breads, yogurts, fresh fruit, and a choice of cheeses. For those with a good appetite why not start the day with a full Irish breakfast, or try the speciality of organic smoked salmon and scrambled eggs.
