The Art Gallery of Ballarat is located at 40 Lydiard Street North, Ballarat. Parking is available in Lydiard Street or Camp Street with access to the Gallery available from the Gallery's front entrance in Lydiard Street. The Art Gallery of Ballarat is an exciting regional gallery with a busy event and exhibition program and an excellent permanent collection. It is the oldest and largest gallery in regional Australia, established in 1884, and houses one of the country's most significant and inspiring collections of Australian art. There is also a fabulous gift shop where you can buy works of local artists and craftspeople as well as souvenirs, toys and art books.
