This gallery is run by the Lao Women's Union to showcase textiles and crafts from around Laos. Housed in a modern building, it provides contemporary craftswomen with a centrally located gallery in which they can display their traditional designs. Visitors to the showroom can admire and buy a wide range of attractive woven silks and cottons, mulberry and flower petal papers and embroidered accessories. The staff is pleased to discuss the techniques and designs on show, and group visits are welcomed.
