About

This was built under the patronage of Mohammaed Ali Shah in around 1646 to serve as a hall of justice. This edifice is highly revered as it has preserved two holy hairs from the Prophet Mohammed's beard. Each year, Id Milad un Nabi is celebrated by the Sunni Muslims residing at Hubli. However, entry of women is restricted inside the building.
