Asfalt sells women's wear on Istedgade, not far from Hovedbanegården (the Central Station). As the name indicates, the style is streetwear, but not in the common sense of the word. Here, flowers and sequins are sewn onto the harsh designs by the two designers that own the shop, Jeanette Pedersen and Hanne Zachariassen. Their individual brands, Urban V and HZ Design, fill up the shop. The prices are very reasonable and you can have your party outfit custom-made here. Just bring your ideas or let the designers handle that too, and you will get a trendy, unique dress. One of their new initiatives is an outdoor fashion show up and down Istedgade (what use to constitute the red-light district of Copenhagen).
